This summer at Waterstart we are focusing on the topic of
the Sargasso Sea. This week we have been thinking about the problem of plastic
accumulation and spent time on Monday cleaning up the beach at Cooper’s Island.
To highlight the issue, we decided to make some art out of our findings!
Today the students continued working towards their Open
Water Scuba Diver certification, learning surface skills such as the Giant
Stride Entry.
Despite the weather forecast, it was a beautiful and
productive day over at Whalebone Bay!
